SUSIE Morel

Being around the water, in the water and watching my Mom and the instructors teach swimming has been a part of my whole life. I love to swim and it is even more fun to help the swim students learn to love the water too!I have been a competitive swimmer for 6 seasons since I was 10 years old, and this year I became an assistant competitive swim coach. For 2 summers my uncle sent me to Berkley for a competitive swim camp lead by the USA Olympic swim coach, Teri McKeever. It was great! My other interests are soccer, hanging out with my friends, traveling and computer games.

SAVANNAH Vongphit

Hi Everyone! My name is Savannah. I previously was a lifeguard and swimming instructor at the City of Regina for 2 years and then moved to Kelowna to attend UBCO to study Medical and Molecular Biology. My favourite part about teaching is seeing children’s growth and progression as a swimmer. As an instructor, I am enthusiastic and fun to ensure everyone enjoys the experience of swimming lessons! Outside of swimming, I love to hike and being outdoors. I also love to travel and experiencing new places. I look forward to meeting everyone and being a part of WETS!
