Learn to Swim
Skill by Skill

In the WETS Program for ages 3 and up, students develop their swimming capabilities through our Skill-Building Method. Each swim skill is taught in a personalized sequence. Each skill builds on the next as swimmers progress.

personalized instruction

Because Every

Swimmer is Unique

We understand that every swimmer has different needs. With a 2:1 class size, WETS Instructors can tailor every lesson to each swimmer's age and development stage.

From the first lesson, instruction is hands-on and focused on guiding each swimmer to develop positive muscle memory in the correct technique as they build each new swim skill.

When swimmers demonstrate each swim skill correctly, they collect a skill token to recognize their progress, making learning to swim both exciting and enjoyable.

SKILL-BUILDING METHOD

WETS Program

From their first lesson, students build correct technique in each skill

through the WETS 1 and WETS 2 development stages.

SKILL FOUNDATIONS AND WATER SAFETY

WETS 1

WETS 1 begins as students enter the water with a focus on developing confidence and easing fears. This stage equips students with the building blocks of swimming.

FOUNDATIONS

Students develop coordination and learn techniques to prepare them for WETS 2. Students focus on eliminating errors so they can develop strong strokes.

WATER SAFETY

As students practice safe water entries, they gradually progress to jumping into deep water and returning to safety.

STROKE DEVELOPMENT and endurance

WETS 2

WETS 2 advances students' swimming capabilities, refining four essential stroke techniques, including Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Elementary Back Stroke, and Breast Stroke.

STROKE DEVELOPMENT

The program is flexible in which strokes to focus on first, personalized to each swimmer based on their preferences, strengths and goals.

ENDURANCE

As students demonstrate their stroke proficiency, they work on extending their swimming distances and building stronger endurance up to 500 meters.

*WETS 2 lessons may not be available at all locations.

Progress You Can See.

Confidence They Can Feel.

VISIBLE PROGRESS

Skill Achievement Tokens

Swimmers receive a WETS Wristband when they register for our program. As they demonstrate each swim skill correctly, they collect a Skill Achievement Token, visually recognizing their progress.

Upon completing their skill token collection, swimmers graduate from the WETS Program, and we celebrate the confidence and proficiency they've built.
